Tipll is a mobile app created to increase dwell time in the social economy through augmented reality, GPS and Geo field notifications. By allowing venues such as restaurants, bars, pubs, coffee shops and festivals to highlight their promotions, offers and roadmaps we can enhance a user’s experience by engaging in their learning, their social preferences and highlight suitable fits through scanning, notifications and ease of use.
Active user engagement allows us to collect social data through their movements and actions giving us the opportunity to increase their experience through on point data analysis, in short a personal concierge service.
Our slogan is to ”become a local in every city” and over the past 2 and a half years we have had headlines like the ”next TripAdvisor.” ”Tipll is the Pokemon go for bars.” but the core of the business uses leading technology to make people’s experience memorable.
We have both the active user and the venues at the heart of our functional development. As a venue you want easy to use accessibility to push, promote and entice new customers using both traditional and technology led functionality. As an app user, you want to be able to find venues, deals and offers that you can also share with your friends while increasing your overall experience through an easy to use mobile application.
Our slogan is to ”become a local in every city”
I was introduced to Shout About Suffolk by a mutual contact who has been interested in the development of tipll from a far and I am pleased to say, that at the beginning of the year he decided to get more involved and he started initial talks with the gents that are Toby and Paddy.
The prospect of being involved in something like Shout About Suffolk was hugely exciting as I have been involved in entrepreneurial programmes like this in the past and I can see the benefit, not only as the business participating but also as a collective cohort of like minded individuals is immense.
From the outset being an entrepreneur can be very lonely and isolating but by being involved in SAS it has allowed me to create a productive and established team that will allow the journey we are all about to undertake much smoother and more importantly build on the foundations of experience.
